Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Dark Rum

Once Plantation Rum, we are now Planteray Rum. Still a family business and still championing the great terroirs of rum.

 

Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple – A masterpiece of re-inventing history. Inspired by The Rev. Stiggins’ favorite tipple, Alexandre Gabriel and his Planteray Rum compatriots went about creating their very own modern Pineapple infused Rum.

 

A tribute to the Charles Dickens character Reverend Stiggins, who preached temperance between nips of his beloved “pineapple rum.” Stiggins’ Fancy starts with the very tiny but very tasty Victoria pineapples, cut by hand; the barks of the pineapple are infused and redistilled in Planteray 3 Stars rum, while the sweet flesh of the fruit is immersed in our Original Dark rum.

 

The team at Planteray Rum tested dozens and dozens of different varieties of pineapple before choosing the Victoria pineapple for its perfect level of sweetness and delicious flavor.

We still gather several times a year to still cut every single pineapple that makes Stiggins’ Fancy so unique. The bartender’s favorite for spectacular cocktail!!
